Responsibilities Note


The observing TSTA has the responsibility to:

  • Observe the process, ensuring it is done according to the rules and requirements of the EATA Handbook
  • The observing TSTA does not have the responsibility of supervising the candidate’s teaching

The Teaching section aims to provide a setting as close as possible to the normal reality of everyday TA teaching. The candidate must:

  • Demonstrate his or her style and philosophy of teaching and training
  • Give a rationale for his or her teaching methods
  • Prepare a teaching demonstration of 20 minutes on a chosen topic of TA theory and practice
  • Prepare a sheet of A4 giving the didactic outline of the teaching
