12.5a — Confirmation Letter for TSTA Exam

This is the confirmation letter sent to the candidate once the training file has been completed and accepted.

Subject: Completion of Training File for: Theory, Organisation and Ethics / Teaching / Supervising / Examination(s).

These completed forms have been received:

Notice of your intent to take the certifying examination on the (date).

Completed Expression of Needs and Accessibility Form (13.4.7).

As a candidate for the examination, you are required to bring four copies of the following to the examination with you:

  • TSTA contract(s) and if appropriate your CTA TS contract/certificate
  • PTSTA annual summary reports
  • Principal Supervisor’s annual summary reports
  • Curriculum Vitae/resume setting out your education, training and experience
  • Letter of endorsement by your Principal Supervisor
  • Letters of endorsement from two additional Teaching and/or Supervising Transactional Analysts
  • Copy of Principal Supervisor’s certification to TSTA examination form
  • The context sheet for the teaching section (if appropriate)

Equipment to record the exam, in all sections, is mandatory as in the absence of any such recording no appeal can be taken into consideration.

Refund Policy: There is no refunding of fees for exams. However, if you notify the EATA supervising examiner, in writing, at least 90 days prior to the date for the examination, the fee is transferable to a future examination.

Language: If you do not intend to be examined in English you will need to provide English translations of all written materials and bring a competent translator with you to the examination.

Recording: Equipment to record the exam, in all sections, is mandatory — in the absence of any such recording no appeal will be possible.

Refund Policy: There is no refunding of fees for exams. However, if you notify the EATA Supervising Examiner, a refund may be considered in case of documented medical emergency.
